The Lookout
(2007)
This is a little gem, not quite on the order of Red Rock West, Fargo, or A Simple Plan, but very good nonetheless. High school hockey star is driving like an idiot with three friends, crashes the car, killing the friends and leaving himself brain damaged. He’s not stupid, but has trouble ordering his life. He has to make lists of simple things to do every day. This is done very well. He’s a janitor in a bank, and falls into bad company. I don’t want to reveal much more than that, but I recommend this one.
