Nocturnal Animals

Dear Readers: During the last several months I have been so occupied with finishing my latest novel that I have had no time to write these reviews. (I love doing them, because they are easy to write, and writing a novel is hard.) But I have kept a list of all the movies we have seen in that time, figuring on going back and catching up. Which I am doing now. And I’m ashamed to admit that I barely remember this film. Reading the summary on Wikipedia a scene will strike me and I know I saw it, but I hardly remember it. And that pisses me off, because I do remember that we both liked this film. The cast is great: Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Laura Linney, Michael Sheen, several others … and it’s all a big blur to me. Maybe I’ll watch it again and write a real review. Sorry about this.
